death of study abroad participants. This<br />

session applies risk assessment and risk<br />

management techniques to water safety;<br />

discusses organizational, cultural, and<br />

systems wilderness risk management and<br />

its applicability to education abroad<br />

programs; examines the on-site challenges<br />

of extracurricular recreational water<br />

activities; and explores roles and<br />

responsibilities surrounding water activities.<br />
