Other payables of the Group include a provision made as a matter of prudence for a sum of Rs. 4,221,040,185 on account
of a judgment delivered against Suntel Limited on 9 March 2012 in HC (Civil) 282/2001(1) in the Commercial High Court of
the Western Province in favour of Electroteks Network Services (Private) Limited. Suntel Limited [now amalgamated with
Dialog Broadband Networks (Private) Limited], on the basis of legal advice received, has appealed against this judgment to
the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, and is now awaiting the determination of its appeal.
