No share options have been granted to the Non-Executive Directors under the ESOS. The Company invested in Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (Private) Limited (Formerly known as Nanco (Private) Limited) ; a company set up for carrying out research on technology developments. The carrying value of the investment as at 31 December 2012 is Rs. 30,595,773 (Note 13). (b) Axiata Investments (Labuan) Limited owns 83.32% of the total number of shares in issue of the Company. The remaining 16.68% of the shares are widely held. The ultimate parent of the Company is Axiata Group Berhad.
