Ubroker.properties file <strong>and</strong> product configurations<br />

• Client <strong>and</strong> RDBMS — If the underlying implementation of TCP/IP supports V4<br />

mapped addresses, then a broker that opens a V6 connection can accept<br />

connection requests from both V4 <strong>and</strong> V6 clients. If V4 mapped addresses are not<br />

supported, <strong>and</strong> your database needs to accept connections from both V4 <strong>and</strong> V6<br />

clients, then you must start a broker for each IP version. Client connection<br />

attempts must specify the version-specific broker.<br />

Log file updates<br />

Log files are updated to include version information about connections, as follows:<br />

• The unified broker records the following information in the unified broker log file at<br />

startup, when the logging level is set to at least 3:<br />
