Conclusions Sitka Harbor System Master Plan Condition Inventory While the general, overall condition of the facility is good, the harbor is nearly 30 years old, and will begin to deteriorate more rapidly as it approaches the end of its useful life. It is estimated that the harbor moorage system has a remaining safe and usable service life of approximately 10 years. 22
