A further meeting was held on 30'h August, with Mrs Dowsett, Mrs Peach
and Mrs Piggott all absent due to illness. The Kennel Club now required a
Health Declaration as part of the Club's Arrnual Returns, and it was agreecl
that a Health Cornrnittee be appointed - Chaired by Miss Finnett, witlr Dr
Saralr Helps as Secretary, with power to co-opt as necessary. Mrs Rednrorrd's
petition had been received requesting that the Club ailply to the KC lbr

lirl l)ogs. Supported L,ntry shows for 2004 were agreed, to encourage
cxlribitors to elrter and give judges ntore hounds to assess. A red tartarr
rosette fbr l" places, together with f3, f2, f.l prize morrey. Soutlr East
Hound, Hound Club of East Anglia, Hound Associatiorr of Scotlarrd,
Hinckley & District, arrd Gillingham & Shaftsbury were chosen. Miss
Finnett reported the "deerhound.co.uk" website was now live. The Lirnitctl
Show was discussed, as was Lodge Park, Aldsworth, Cheltenlranr period
costutne & lure coursing event (see this issue of the Newsletter fbr details ol'
the event). We continue to discuss future Club events, and the Treasurer
pre.sents details of our financial affairs. Our next nreeting is scheduled for
