Even rny computer cannot understand
the words and underlines every one in red apart from Cardigan which seerns to
be no problem and is a great relief when I've spelt out the address very slowly and
carefuf ly to just about everyone in the world, or so it seems. It really is quite anazing
how many people, service providers, government bodies, banks, insurance companies
etc. etc. need to be notifled, the list seems never ending. The dogs were truly rnagnificent
on rernoval day and put up with everything we tlrrew at them. The day dawned
bright and clear and we all enjoyed our rnorning walk and they were then put in a srnall
secure enclosure with no possibility of anyone accidentally letting thern out. This
worked beautifully for about half an hour and then it stafted to rain and as you all
know Deerhounds can get absolutely soaked when out walking and running but left to
stand out in it ! oh no! they whined and whinged and looked as pathetic as only Deerhounds
can. lt really was not torrential just a little light interrn ittent drizzle wh ich became
absolutely unbearable after all of two nrinutes, we hurnans were not even wearing
coats. Plan B was to put some of tlrem in the car and some of therrr in the van this
seemed very acceptable to thern all, tlrey didn't even seem to rnind when we had to use
the vehicles and drive them to and fro between tlre new and old properties, anything
but get wet! Of course removals being what they are, never quite go to plan and our
removal van arrived at Preswylfa only to find that the existing owners renroval firm
was abouttwo hours behind schedule. I was getting really concelned that tinre was
getting on and there still seemed no prospect ofgetting the dogs out ol-their respective
vehicles, howeverthere really was no need to worry as they all.just dccided the world
was mad and went to sleep. The looks on their faces said.iust wakc us up when it's all
over. I wish I could have done the sanre.
We did eventually get all our belongings into the new lrorrsc irnrl rlccidcd to leave the
mountain of boxes ant let our wonderfully patient doss scc llrcir rrcrv llclds and then

r lhnrprt'rrl hcl two rnischievous daughters who are not quite who are not quite old
