This year many.soulhet'n exhibitors had somelhing
to c'elebrate, the Gilhoolys, Meers. Dr McKenna und
parlner, and not./brgelting the Allwrights. (irey,brov,s Balach (Locklt to the loculs ) had
gained his crou,n under Murie Bryce-Sntith qt tlte Easl o/'England shor,. Togky plus
slight hangover wenl on the next daS, lrr rr'',, the Dog CC under Dr M Mc:Kinnon so back

On to Southeast Hound Club who held their Summer/Autumn show the last weekend of
August and they wefe blessed with good weather. The show ground and facilities were
spot on, Judge Mr Mick Peach; perfect. Added to this it was the shows 2 l'' birthday
bash with Val & Gordon Meer arranging food and drink. Val had spent time rraking
sure the food covered all tastes. Hector had been put in charge ofthetwo gazebos
needed to cover the spread, while Sue was busy with her own judging
commitrnents. lt was especially nice to see Sue Piggott (who was well on the nrend),
Caroline Dowsett (who also has not been at all well this surnmer). Other exhibitors included
Joyce Bond who was showing Caroline's young dog Windrush. Jill and Toby
Smith all the way from
Dorset (what stamina)
along with a new member
all the way from Cornwall.
Mick Peach had a good
entry of36 hounds across
6 classes. Mary Girling
won Best of Breed with
her Pyefleet Nirno and the
Help's Beardswood Lua in
Reserve BOB slot. Best
Puppy was Creyflax Lady
ofthe Lake.
