The Conflict of Horus and Set<br />

Horus as a direct descendant of Osiris represents the Higher Self of man. Set is the Lower<br />

the Monad or Father in Heaven. Horus and Set are claimants of the throne of Ra, the Sun-<br />

Monad in<br />

Aries. Some of the gods favour Set because he is the protector of the solar boat. Horus as<br />

the divine<br />

child (Christ) is said to be too young to rule.<br />

Isis is the Divine Mother represented by Venus in Pisces (the Great Sea). Set demands<br />

rival claims on a remote island (the physical plane) and tries to prevent Isis from<br />
