In Western thought, Saturn is represented as an old man with a sickle in his<br />

hand. <strong>The</strong> Hindus consider him either as a Yatna, the god <strong>of</strong> death, or as<br />

Shiva, the Supreme God <strong>of</strong> the Cosmos. Whatever status is assigned to<br />

Saturn, the references to him esoterically emphasize that he loves mankind<br />
