(c) Foreign currency risk
The Group operates in the Asia Pacific region and is exposed to various currencies, mainly the Singapore Dollar, India Rupee,
Euro and United States Dollar. Foreign currency denominated assets and liabilities together with expected cash flows from its
operational and commercial transactions give rise to foreign exchange exposures.
The Group maintains a natural hedge, whenever possible, by borrowing in the currency of the country in which the property or
investment is located or by borrowing in currencies that match the future revenue stream to be generated from its investments.
Foreign exchange exposures in transactional currencies other than functional currencies of the operating entities are kept to an
acceptable level.
The net unhedged financial assets and financial liabilities of the Group that are not denominated in their functional currencies
are as follows:
