SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS<br />

Please read the following safety instructions carefully <strong>be</strong>fore you start using the<br />

appliance:<br />

- Check to make sure that the mains voltage matches the information shown on the<br />

nameplate of the appliance.<br />

- Do not use the appliance if the electric lead or plug is damaged, if the appliance is<br />

not working properly, if you have dropped it or if it is damaged in any other way.<br />

. Take the appliance to the manufacturer’s after-sales service department or to the<br />

nearest service centre for repair or servicing.<br />

- Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.<br />

- In order to prevent electric shocks do not immerse the appliance in water or any<br />

other liquids.<br />

- Remove the plug <strong>from</strong> the electric socket when the appliance is not <strong>be</strong>ing used, if<br />

you add or remove parts or if you want to clean the bread baking machine.<br />

- Do not let the electric lead hang over the edge of a table or touch a warm/hot surface.<br />

- To avoid bodily injury use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.<br />

- Do not place the appliance near a gas or electric oven or in a heated oven.<br />

- Use extreme caution when moving the appliance if it contains hot oils or other hot<br />

liquids.<br />

- Do not touch the moving and rotating parts when the breadmaker is in operation.<br />

- Do not switch the appliance on if there are no ingredients in it.<br />

- Never hit the baking tin to release the bread. This can damage the baking tin.<br />

- In order to avoid the risk of fire or a short circuit do not insert aluminium foil or<br />

other metal materials/objects in the breadmaker.<br />

- Never cover the breadmaker with a towel or other material. The heat and steam must<br />

always <strong>be</strong> allowed to escape. Covering the breadmaker or allowing it to come into<br />

contact with combustible material(s) may result in fire.<br />

- Always switch the appliance off first <strong>be</strong>fore removing the electric plug <strong>from</strong> the<br />

electric socket.<br />

- Do not use the breadmaker for any purpose other purpose than that for which it is<br />

intended<br />

- This appliance is equipped with an earthed plug. Make sure that the electric socket<br />

you use in your house is earthed too.<br />

This appliance is only for household use or environments of a similar character such<br />

as :<br />

• kitchens that are used by personnel of shops, office or other similar professional<br />

environments.<br />

• Farms<br />

• Hotel rooms and motel rooms and other similar environments with a residential<br />

character.<br />

• Bed and breakfast or similar.<br />

Attention : this appliance may not <strong>be</strong> used with an external timer or seperate remote<br />
