Hutch<strong>in</strong>son, <strong>of</strong> Germantown, Pa. Mr. <strong>Olmsted</strong> was educated <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Elmira,<br />

N. Y., schools and prepared for college at <strong>the</strong> Elmira Free Academy. He<br />

entered Oberl<strong>in</strong> College (Oberl<strong>in</strong>, Ohio), Sept., 1902; graduated with degree <strong>of</strong><br />

A. B. <strong>in</strong> June, 1906. Most <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> follow<strong>in</strong>g year he spent <strong>in</strong> Y. M. C. A. work<br />

<strong>in</strong> Troy, N. Y. He was elected Gen. Sec, <strong>of</strong> Oberl<strong>in</strong> College Y. M. C. A. and<br />

commenced <strong>the</strong> duties <strong>of</strong> this <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>in</strong> Sept., 1907, serv<strong>in</strong>g two years <strong>in</strong> that<br />

capacity; elected Gen. Sec. <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Y. M. C. A. <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ohio State Univ. at<br />

Columbus, Ohio, and entered upon <strong>the</strong> duties <strong>of</strong> that <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>in</strong> Aug., 1909;<br />

became assistant Educational Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> West Side Y. M. C. A. <strong>of</strong> New<br />

York City, Jan. 1, 1911. Mrs. <strong>Olmsted</strong> was a Teacher <strong>of</strong> Physical Culture <strong>in</strong><br />

a Girls' High School at Philadelphia, Pa.<br />
