A complete list <strong>of</strong> his children has not been found as <strong>the</strong> records are very<br />

<strong>in</strong>complete <strong>in</strong> Berkshire County. He probably married about 1756-57.<br />

9144, Aaron; b. <strong>in</strong> Berkshire County, Mass., about 1758.<br />

He enlisted as a drummer <strong>in</strong> Capt. Stephen Pearl's Co., Col. Benj. Ruggles<br />

Woodbridge's (25th) Regt., May 10, 1775; was at Cambridge, June 26, 1775;<br />

at Prospect Hill, Sept. 28, 1775, and <strong>in</strong> camp at Cambridge Oct. 23, 1775.<br />

He probably served throughout <strong>the</strong> campaign <strong>of</strong> 1776 <strong>in</strong> this regt.<br />

Jan. 14, 1777, he enlisted <strong>in</strong> Capt. Ephraim Fitch's Co., Col. Benj. Simond'^<br />

detachment <strong>of</strong> Berkshire Co. militia, which marched to Ticonderoga.<br />

He served until Feb. 25, 1777.<br />

He was a Private <strong>in</strong> Capt. Sylvanus Willcox's Co., Col. John Ashley's<br />

(Berkshire Co.) Regt., from July 8 to July 21, 1777, and marched to Fort<br />

Edward. He was also <strong>in</strong> Capt. Elijah Demm<strong>in</strong>g's detachment <strong>of</strong> Col. Ash-<br />

ley's Regt. ordered to Albany by Gen. Fellows June 4 to July 15, 1778, and <strong>in</strong><br />

Capt. Peter Porter's detachment. Gen. Fellows' Berkshire County Brigade<br />

July 1 to Oct. 31, 1778; service, 4 months under Brig. Gen. Stark at Albany.<br />

He aga<strong>in</strong> enlisted July 19, 1779, <strong>in</strong> Capt. Roswell Down<strong>in</strong>g's Co., Lieut.<br />

Col. Miles Powell's Berkshire County Regt., and served until Aug. 23, 1779,<br />

at New Haven, Conn.<br />

After <strong>the</strong> close <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Revolutionary War he removed to <strong>the</strong> town <strong>of</strong><br />

Granville, Wash<strong>in</strong>gton County, N. Y., where he was liv<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> 1790 with a<br />

wife, one son and one daughter. No record <strong>of</strong> his descendants.<br />

Mass., abt. 1764-66; d. at Northville, N. Y., soon after 1791; m. at Stockbridge,<br />

Mass., Feb., 1788, Es<strong>the</strong>r Andrews; prob. dau. <strong>of</strong> Jeremiah and Sarah<br />

(Bryant) Andrews. He removed with his bro<strong>the</strong>r, Jeremiah, to Hope,<br />

N. Y., but soon settled <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> adjo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g town <strong>of</strong> Northampton, where he died<br />

soon after his settlement. His death is <strong>the</strong> first recorded <strong>in</strong> that town.<br />
