CHAPTER – 1
1.1 INFORMATIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF TENDER
1.1.1 Sealed tender on approved quantity to be eventually drawn in P.W.D. form No. F2 will be
received from experience contractor registered in appropriate category in R.C.D. upto 3pm on
20-10-2011 the Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Division
Latehar/Superintending Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Circle,
Daltonganj/Chief Engineer, Road Construction Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi for the work
mentioned in NIT below and will be opened by the concerned receiving officers or persons duly
authorized by them on 20-10-2011 at 3.30P.M. in presence of Tenders the authorized agents.
1.1.2 In case of some reasons or the other tender receiving and opening office is closed on the date of
receipt of tenders, tenders be received by the said officers on the next working day at the same
time and in the same manner as mentioned in para 1.1.1 above.
1.1.3 The clause of the contract form in Para 1.1.1 and Chapter-II of Tender Document (General rules
of the guidance of tenderer) must be gone through by the tenderer prior to submission of the
tender.
1.1.4 The plan, specifications or any other information in connection with the concerned work can be
seen in the office of the Executive Engineer Road Construction Department, Road Division
Latehar on any working day during office hours before the date of receipt of tender.
1.1.5 There may be difference from press notices in estimated cost, amount contract/quantum of work
to be executed.
1.2 SALE OF TENDER DOCUMENT (B.O.Q)
1.2.1 For purchases of tender documents intending tenderer shall submitted an application along with
attested copies of:
∗ Contract Registration letter
∗ Character Certificate
∗ Income Tax & Sale tax Certificates
∗ Labour License letter
∗ Documents showing ownership of machineries must be produced to the officers mentioned
in Para 1.1.1 above latest up to 1:00 PM preceding the date of receipt.
OR can be downloaded from the website of Jharkhand government www.jharkhand.gov.in and
submitted after attaching Demand draft for the cost of tender document as stated in item no. 2 of
chapter 4 along with other documents in absence of which the tender shall be rejected.
1.2.2 The Applications so received will thereafter be scrutinized by the officers authorized for the
purpose and the tender documents shall be issued to those tenderers only who qualify for the
purchase of Tender Document on payment of full cost of the same in the shape of account payee
bank draft drawn in favour of Executive Engineer Road Construction Department, Road
Division Latehar payable at the State Bank of India Latehar.
1.2.3 The applications not accompanied with the document stated in Para1.2.1 shall be treated as
invalid.
1.3 EARNEST MONEY (E.M.)
1.3.1 Each tender must be accompanied with the required amount of earnest Money as shown in NIT
in the shape of one or combination thereof from among the following only:-
∗ National saving Certificates
∗ Post office Time Deposit (3 years and above) and the same must be Pledged to the
Executive Engineer, Road Construction Department, Road Division Latehar.
1.3.2 Tenders not accompanied with the requisite Earnest Money shall be summarily rejected at the
time of their opening.
