CHAPTER – 2
General Rules for Guidance of Tenderer
2.1. The complete tender with all its enclosures shall be contained in sealed envelope and delivered
to any one of the receiving officers mentioned in Para 1.1 so as to reach him on the day &
before the stipulated time in the N.I.T.
2.2. The tender may mention in all forwarding letter list of all documents submitted with the tender.
2.3. The tender shall contain the full name Address residence and place of business of person of
persons filling the tender in case there is subsequent change in address it must be I informed to
the excreted E.E. and circle Daltongunj by registered post.
2.4. All pages of the tender documents including copy of Tender Notice through press shall initialed
at the lower left hand corner by the tender or a person holding power of attorney authorizing
him to sign on behalf of the tender before submission of the tender failure to comply with this
clause will invalidate the offer.
2.5. In the event of the tender being submitted by a firm it must be signed by each partner thereof
and in the event of the absence of any of the partners it should be signed on his behalf by person
holding power of attorney authorizing him to do so and the same shall be produced on demand
all signature shall be dated.
2.6. No tender shall file tender for more than one work in one sealed envelope if tenderer desires to
submit for more than one work be should submit in separate scaled envelope for each work on
appearance and duly purchased bill quantity the name of the work should be written on the
sealed envelope.
2.7. The rates quoted by the tenderers shall be inclusive of royalty cess sales tax income tax other
state or central taxes. Other P.O.L. Charges carriage of materials fares freight wages of all staffs
labour chowkidar.
2.8. The tenderer shall be presumed to carefully examine the conditions of the contract and
specifications of the work. The tenderer will also be deemed to have inspected the work site and
have satisfied himself/themselves independently as to the nature extent and practicability of all
work. Approaches and other means of communication and accesses to the site as regards land
buildings available for accommodation that may be required for temporary purposes in
connection with the contract of work as also to availability of construction material location of
quarry site including climate of work site and other geological characteristics availability or
skilled semi skilled unskilled laborers and all other aspects incidental to the work before quoting
rates. The consequence of the lack of necessary knowledge will be at the risk and cost of the
tenderer.
2.9. Income tax, Sales Tax, Royalty cess etc. shall be deducted at source from each bill as per
relevant rules of the Govt. prevailing at as amended or revised from time to time covering entire
period of the work.
2.10. If the tenderer is Registered as contractor in a class other than the for which he/they is/are filling
this tender he/they should furnish details or registration in other class as well.
