See your terminal device reference material <strong>for</strong> full instructions on configuration. The<br />
required register settings <strong>for</strong> terminal devices are given in the following subsections (by<br />
device type). The convention XX XX represents a unique terminal address (in<br />
hexadecimal).<br />
General requirements<br />
When defining terminal devices:<br />
• Do not use braces as alternate <strong>for</strong>ms characters.<br />
• Enterprise Application Environment requires terminals that are capable of displaying a<br />
72-character status line.<br />
• Where applicable, configure your terminal so that carriage returns are not visible.<br />
