5.0 PREPARATION OF TENDER:
5.1 Cost of Tendering.

All costs / expenditure incurred in working on the tender preparation and
submission etc., till the finalization of the contract is to tenderers account.
5.2 Familiarisation of site:
Tenderer shall fully get familiarized with the conditions at site by visiting the
site. It is the Tenderers responsibility to study the site, equipment surroundings,
approach roads etc and collect all the information required for tendering and
execution. No claims will be entertained for ignorance of the conditions /
information.
6.0 POWER OF ATTORNEY:
6.1 Tenderer shall submit power of attorney in favour of the
person who signs the tender and subsequent submissions on behalf of the
Tenderer as per Proforma -I. All the tender documents, including drawings,
specifications and other details submitted by the Tenderer, shall be signed and
stamped on each page.
6.2 The cancellation of any such document viz., Power of Attorney, Partnership
deed etc., should be informed in writing to HPCL well in time, failing which
HPCL shall have no responsibility for any action taken by HPCL on the strength
of the said documents.
7.0 CONFORMITY TO TENDER DOCUMENTS.
All the Tenderers are advised that while preparing their Tender and quoting
their price, all the conditions both Technical and Commercial, the requirement
of all the specifications/documents / drawings are to be taken into
consideration. Tenderer shall furnish a confirmation letter as per Proforma II
that their offer is fully in conformity with the tender requirements.
8.0 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE
TENDER INDICATING TENDERERS EXPERIENCE:
8.1 Details of similar works executed in the last seven years by the tenderer as per
Proforma - III.
8.2 Details of orders on hand and their present status as per Proforma - IV.
9.0 AMENDMENTS TO TENDER DOCUMENTS:
