agency, the cost <strong>of</strong> repairs / replacement <strong>of</strong> the same will be to agency’s<br />
account. In this regard, HPCL’s decision shall be final.<br />
4.4.1.9 All the serviceable materials shall be sorted out and handed over to<br />
HPCL Store as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Scrap and other<br />
unutilized materials shall be handed over to HPCL stores/ scrap yard as<br />
directed by Engineer-In-charge.<br />
4.4.1.10 Items to be segregated separately ie. Metallic and non-metallic. The<br />
following metallic items to be segregated separated like in the separate<br />
heads:<br />
a. Mec. Valves (except small bore Valve) & control valves.<br />
b. Pipe and pipe fittings (CS, AS in group and SS and other in different)<br />
c. Structurals<br />
d. Electrical items<br />
e. Instrumentation items<br />
(Copper tubes to be separated and weighed and stores separately in<br />
warehouse)<br />
f. Cables- all electrical / instrumentation etc.<br />
g. Sheets Al cladded<br />
4.4.1.11 Transportation to be arranged for weighing the scrap with HPCL weighing<br />
machine and shifting <strong>of</strong> scrap material to scrap area for scrap,<br />
equipments, piping, structurals, cables etc. and to other designated<br />
location for debris, wastes, concrete, refractory, insulation, coke, earth,<br />
non scrap things as per the directions <strong>of</strong> the job engineer.<br />
4.5 ERECTION WORKS:<br />
The contractor shall be responsible for the dismantling and erection <strong>of</strong> the<br />
equipments in proper sequence. After placing the equipments on the structures,<br />
the equipments shall be leveled, aligned and bolted/welded. The equipment shall<br />
be set to level and square so that pipe connection can be made without strain.<br />
a. Erection <strong>of</strong> newly fabricated Convection Section over the top <strong>of</strong> Radiant Ro<strong>of</strong><br />
Section, alignment, bolting/welding.<br />
b. Erection <strong>of</strong> stack in single piece / two pieces at the top <strong>of</strong> Convection section,<br />
alignment, bolting / welding, Refractory lining etc.<br />
c. Erection <strong>of</strong> bracings, plat forms at different elevations with hand railings,<br />
stairways, ladders etc., alignment, bolting/welding.<br />
d. Erection <strong>of</strong> G.I Gratings on the platform including fixing G.I support clamps as<br />
per <strong>drawings</strong>
