Any other item not specifically listed, but are required to complete the job shall also be supplied by the Contractor within their quoted price 4.1.4 INSPECTION OF MATERIALS All Indigenous / Imported materials shall be inspected by Third party Inspection Agency i.e., M/s Lloyds./BVIS / CEIL/ IBR. IBR items shall be got duly inspected by IBR authorities. For items under IBR which are imported, where the above IIIrd party inspection is not available; any other competent inspection agency as approved by IBR shall be employed. Contractor shall include IIIrd party Inspection charges in the quoted price. All inspection and tests shall be made as required by the drawings/ specifications. All costs towards testing shall be within the quoted rates. 4.1.5 CHANGE OF MATERIALS: Contractor shall note that wherever the material specification given in the drawings for some items is in variance with materials specification listed above, to the extent specifications as given above will be followed. However, contractor shall obtain written clarification from HPCL / CEPS before proceeding further. 4.1.6 COIL WORK FOR PRESSURE PARTS 4.1.6.1 The convection section coil for 11-F-01 consists of the following main materials a. Studded tube to SA 335P5/SA106 Gr B b. Plain tubes to SA 335 P5 /SA106 Gr B c. Pipe fittings to SA 234WP5 / A234WPB/A 182F5 d. Forged flanges to SA 182F5/A105 4.1.6.2 The convection section coil for 12-F-01 consists of the following main material: a. Studded tube to SA 335P9 b. Plain tubes to SA 335 P9 c. Pipe fittings to SA 234WP9 and SA 182F9 d. Forged flanges to SA 182F9 4.1.7 HPCL will supply the following material only as free issue materials Plain tubes to SA 335P5 and SA 335P9 / A106 Gr B Studded tubes to SA 335P5, A 335P9 AND A106 Gr B

The Tenderer has to include the welding of center joint fully conforming to the requirements in his scope. Material for the bridge pieces to spec SA387 Gr 9 is in his scope 4.1.9. The list of free issue materials supplied by HPCL is attached to this special technical conditions and these are to be collected from HPCL stores. All the rest of the materials that are required for completion of total scope of work is in tenderers scope. 4.2 RESIDUAL ENGINEERING / PREPARATION OF FABRICATION DRAWINGS: 4.2.1 Residual Engineering: Based on the refractory details provided in the drawings, the Contractor shall design / develop the detailed drawings for the Refractory lining work including Anchors /Shelf plates / Retainer plates etc., for the refractory application work. 4.2.2 HPCL will issue the old Convection Section and stack drawings to the extent available with them and these are enclosed to the Tender. Purpose of these drawings is to enable the contractor to understand scope and extent of work and make offer in line with the requirements of HPCL and execution of Job further. Based on HPCL drawings contractor has to prepare the fabrication drawings. If any details / drawings are not available, contractor has to visit site and collect the details and develop the drawings. 4.2.3 Preparation of drawings Contractor shall prepare detailed fabrication drawings of convection sections, Stacks and associated structures heater wise and submit the drawings for the approval of HPCL / CEPS. In addition to the above, super heated steam coil drawing of 11-F-01 is to be submitted to IBR and obtain their approval. Brief scope of drawings to be prepared by the tenderer are indicated below. However, any additional drawing needed during contract stage are to be prepared as necessary.
