1756 July 21 The Town obtained Bond of Baillie Reid of £175 Stg. For 6<br />

years feu duty of Drumgeith<br />

Aug 25 The Towns Treasurer permitted to Vote in Council but not to<br />

uplift the Revenue<br />

1757 May 2 The two pennies of the pint for the year proceeding yeilded<br />

£13060.6s.4d Scotch the outlay £12650.7s.5d Scotch. The<br />

Receipt of that year Amounted to £1088.7 Sterling<br />

June 20 The Town as Superior of the Lands of Duntroon compound<br />

with Capt Graham for £22 Sterling<br />

twenty pounds to be Carried to the Trades for their revisal<br />

Head Court – Deacons warned to Attend. The Conveener &<br />

Deacons request that the Common Acts of Council be carried<br />

to them and published as in former years<br />

Scotes – And Hospital enclosure set up at £272 Scotes<br />

Further parts of the Revenue lett viz. The Packhouse the<br />

Weigh house &c &c<br />

Feby 10 Four and a half Acres feued out to Rollo and McLaushan at<br />

£45 Sterling per Acre Entry Money and 48/- yearly feu duty<br />
