Kenneth Shutt:
Assistant caretaker.
English. Born in Manchester,
Ken trained as a hairdresser and
has worked extensively as a cabaret
entertainer, singer and guitarist.
He moved to Denmark in 1993
and joined the EFC in 2001 as a
member of the maintenance
team.
Lone Paulsen:
Matron
Danish. Lone was trained as an
office assistant. She has formerly
worked at the land registry office
in Silkeborg and has also done a
variety of catering jobs. She joined
the EFC as matron in 2001.
Connie Steen:
Matron
Danish. She has earlier worked at
the local supermarket and as an
office clerk, and has periodically
helped out at the EFC since 1996.
She joined the college on a permanent
basis in 2002.
Poul Freibert:
Cinema operator
Danish. Studio musician and
theatre musician - owned his own
studio from 1980-93. He is now
working with meditational music.
Marianne-Erika
Hansen:
Library assistant
Danish. Educated in office work
and as a leasure-time teacher in
Copenhagen and as musician in
Copenhagen, Århus and Kolding.
Marianne-Erika teaches flute at
Ebeltoft Municipal Musicschool.
She has worked on several institutions
with pre-school and younger
children. Marianne joined EFC in
October 2003 and she is assisting
Jim Fernald with the library.
Kitchen
Mariannne Udsen:
Kitchen manager
Danish. Educated as kitchen
matron at Midt-Jylland’s Husholdningsskole.
She was formerly
matron at the technical school in
Århus, in the department store
Magasin in Århus and in various
other institutions. Marianne
joined the EFC in 1993.
WHO´s WHO
Jan Foldager:
Chef and kitchen
manager
Danish. University graduate in
Maths and Data. Worked in the
industry for a year before deciding
to become a chef. He worked and
trained in the La Tour restaurant
in Århus before joining the EFC
team in May 1994.
Ingvar Møller:
Kitchen assistant
Danish. Truly a man of many talents,
Ingvar has previously worked
among other things as a farmer,
salesman and restaurant inspector,
and has for many years been a mem-
ber of the EFC’s kitchen team.
Mona Larsen:
Kitchen Assistant
Danish. Trained as kitchen assistant
from Vejlby Husholdningsskole.
Mona initially came
to the EFC for 8 months in 1997
while Marianne Udsen was on
maternity leave and subsequently
worked at Tirstrup airport. She
joined the EFC as a
permanent member of the kitchen
team in March 1999.
Mona Sørensen:
Kitchen Assistant
Danish. Mona first came to the
EFC for a month’s training in
1998, and returned for further job
training in 1999. She was hired as
a permanent Kitchen Assistant in
2001.
Marianne Andersen:
Catering trainee.
Danish. Marianne previously
worked at Thor Fisk in Grenaa
and started at the EFC in January
2001.
Jean Jensen:
Trainee Kitchen
Assistant
Danish. Previously worked in
Bøgehøj and started at the EFC in
January 2001.
