European Youth Parliament United Kingdom
The National Committee of the European
Youth Parliament in the United Kingdom
Created in 1992, the European Youth Parliament in the UK is very active on the regional as well
as on the national level. With 14 Regional Forums across the UK (one day events with elements
of team building and General Assembly) and one annual National Session (four day event with
200 participants), EYP UK has a very large outreach all over the United Kingdom. We also oversee
a programme of outreach events which seek to increase interest and participation among state
schools. Each year, the selection process of the participants of the EYP UK regional and national
events reaches roughly 1500 youngsters in the UK.
