Transect area. In the central part of the Transect area, the rock shows generally dipping<br />

both eastward and westward, with N-S and NE-SW trending directions and well<br />

developed S1 cleavage. The total thickness of the Carboniferous rocks from the<br />

representative section is exceeded 800 m.<br />

The Kubang Pasu/Yaha Formation (Ckp/yh) on the Thai side is distinguishable into two<br />

facies: arenaceous facies (Cyh1) and argillaceous facies (Cyh2).<br />
