26 Transect area. In the central part of the Transect area, the rock shows generally dipping both eastward and westward, with N-S and NE-SW trending directions and well developed S1 cleavage. The total thickness of the Carboniferous rocks from the representative section is exceeded 800 m. The Kubang Pasu/Yaha Formation (Ckp/yh) on the Thai side is distinguishable into two facies: arenaceous facies (Cyh1) and argillaceous facies (Cyh2).
