METROPOLITAN WATER SUPPLY, SEWERAGE<br />
AND DRAINAGE DEPARTMENT.<br />

IN accordance with the provisions of the Metropolitan<br />
Water Supply, Sewerage and Drainage Act,<br />
1909, it is hereby notified that sewers and other<br />
apparatus have been completed, and are now available<br />
for use in extension to Area No. 16, Fremantle,<br />
within the boundaries of East Fremantle Municipality,<br />
to serve lots Nos. 9 and 10, Wolseley Road.<br />
Owners of the above properties are hereby notified<br />
that such properties are capable of being connected<br />
to the sewer and must, therefore, connect<br />
their premises to the sewers within 30 days from<br />
date of service of prescribed notice, and are also<br />
notified that sewerage rates will, in accordance<br />
with the by-laws, be enforced from 1st July, 1953,<br />
if premises not previously connected, and be payable<br />
in advance. If premises are connected prior<br />
to 1st July, 1953, rates will be charged from date<br />
of connection.<br />
A plan of the works to be carried out at each<br />
property must first be obtained from the Department.<br />

96 of the Metropolitan Water Supply, Sewerage<br />
and Drainage Act, 1909, that water mains have<br />
been laid in the undermentioned streets in the<br />
district indicated.<br />
Melville Road District.<br />
2016/52The Esplanade, from lot 9 to lot 10<br />
Northerly.<br />
2342/51Ness Road, from lot 6 to lot 5Westerly.<br />

NOTICE is hereby given that under section 251 of<br />
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1906-1951, the<br />
Council of the City of Perth resolved on 11th May,<br />
1953, that the following stand for motor taxis only<br />
be cancelled:.<br />
(8) A stand on the Eastern side of William Street<br />
beginning at a point lSft. South of the Southern<br />
building alignment of St. George's Terrace and<br />
extending Southwards 35ft. for two cars parallel<br />
to the kei'b.<br />
It was further resolved that the following stands<br />
for motor taxis only be cancelled:<br />
(11) A stand on the Southern side of Murray<br />
Street, beginning at a point 2Oft. East of the Eastern<br />
building alignment of William Street and<br />
extending Eastwards 35ft., for two cars parallel to<br />
the kerb.<br />
(16) (a) A stand on the Southern side of Mur-<br />
ray Street, beginning at a point lOOft. West of<br />
the Western building alignment of William Street<br />
and extending Westwards 52ft., being a feeder<br />
rank for three cars parallel to the kerb.<br />
And that, in lieu thereof, the following stands<br />
