141 of the Electoral Act, 1907-1952, has<br />
approved of the appointment of the undermentioned<br />
officer as Assistant Returning Officer to<br />
count votes at the counting place in the district<br />

1. The purchaser shall within a period of two<br />
(2) years from the date of the approval of<br />
his application fence the boundaries of his<br />
lot with a fence capable of resisting great<br />
and small stock to the satisfaction of the<br />
Minister and also shall within such period<br />
of two years effect on his lot improvements<br />
of a value equal to at least double the amount<br />
of the purchase money of the lot. Such<br />
improvements may consist of a dwelling or<br />
any other building, water supply, clearing,<br />
cultivation or such other improvements as<br />
the Minister may accept.<br />
No transfer of a license will be permitted,<br />
without the special approval of the<br />
Minister, until the prescribed fencing and<br />
improvement conditions have been complied<br />
with.<br />
Breach of any of the conditions of sale<br />
will render the license liable to forfeiture<br />
together with all moneys paid in connection<br />
therewith.<br />
All improvements on the land offered for sale<br />
are the property of the Crown, and shall be paid<br />
for as the Minister may direct, whose valuation<br />
shall be final and binding on the purchaser.<br />
Plans and further particulars of these sales<br />
may be obtained at this office and the offices of<br />
the various Government Land Agents. Land sold<br />
to a depth of 200 feet below the natural surface.<br />
except in mining districts, where it is granted to<br />
a depth of 40 feet or 20 feet only.<br />
