PROCLAMATION
WESTERN AUSTRALIA. By His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sir Charles
TO WIT, f Henry Gairdner, Knight Commander of the Most
CHARLES HENRY Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
GAIRONER, George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order
Governor, of the Bath, Commander of the Most Excellent
Order of the British Empire, Governor is and
ever the State of Western Australia and its
Dependencies in the Cnmmnnwealth nf Australia.
WHEREAS by the Coal Mine Workers (Pensions)
Act, 1943-1951, it is provided that the Governor
may from time to time by Proclamation increase
or decrease the rates of conribution payable by
each mineworker, or by each owner, in respect of
each mineworker employed by such owner, as provided
under such Act; and whereas it is expedient
to increase the rates of contribution aforesaid: Now,
therefore I, the said Governor, in exercise of the
powers aforesaid, do hereby, with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, proclaim that
on and after the 27th day of September,
1952, and until the 27th day of March,
1953, but subject to subsection (5) of section
twenty-one of the said Act, the rates
of contribution payable by each mineworker
and by each owner in respect of
each mineworker employed by such owner
shall be respectively six shillings and sixpence
per week and one pound two shillings
and sixpence per week, and
on and after the 28th day of March, 1953,
and until further Proclamation, but subject
to subsection (5) of section twentyone
of the said Act the rates of contribution
payable by each mineworker and by
each owner in respect of each mineworker
employed by such owner shall be respectively
six shillings per week and one pound
two shillings and sixpence per week.

AT a meeting of the Executive Council, held in
the Executive Council Chamber, Perth, this 29th
day of April, 1953, the following Orders in Council
were authorised to be issued:
Country Areas Water Supply Act, 1947-1951.
Extension of Pipeline to Narembeen Reservoir.
Land Act, 1933-1950.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
Corres. No, 3277/51.
WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-
1950, it is, inter alia, made lawful for the Governor
to direct that any land reserved pursuant to the
provisions of the Act, shall be leased for the purpose
for which the land is reserved as aforesaid,
by Instrument of Lease in accordance with the form
in the Fourth Schedule of the Act, to any person
(as defined in the said section); and whereas it
is deemed expedient that reserve No. 23613 (Fitzroy
Location 27) shall be leased for a term of 99 years
to the United Aborigines Mission Limited to be
held in trust for the purpose of an Aborigines' Mission:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council doth hereby direct that the abovementioned
of reserve shall be leased for a term of 99 years to
of the United Aborigines Mission Limited to be held
in trust for the purpose of an Aborigines Mission.

The Land Act, 1933-1950.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-
1950, it is made lawful for the Governor to direct
that any reserve shall vest in and be held by any
municipality, road board, or other person or persons
to be named in the order in trust for the like
or other public purposes to be specified in such
order; and whereas it is deemed expedient as
follows:
Corr. No. 381/41That reserve No. 22249 (Manjimup
Lot 441) should vest in and be held by the
Manjimup Road Board in trust for the purpose of
Park Lands.
Corr. No. 2882/31That Class A Reserves Nos.
20952 (as amended), 20955 and 20956 should vest
in and be held by the Bayswater Road Board in
trust for the purpose of Recreation.
Corr. No. 1195/39That reserve No. 22242*t
(Gnowangerup Lot 221) should vest in and be
held by Gnowangerup Road Board in trust for the
purpose of Recreation.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, doth hereby direct that the before-mentioned
reserves shall vest in and be held by the
above road boards in trust for the above purposes,
subject to section 37 of the Act.
Subj ect to the approval in writing of the Minister
for Lands being first obtained, to lease the whole
or any portion of the said reserve for any term
not exceeding 21 years from the date of the
lease.
A previous Order in Council dated 12th June,
1951, is hereby superseded.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the Forests Act, 1918, it is provided
that the Governor may by Order in Council dedicate
any Crown lands as State Forests within the meaning
and for the purposes of that Act: Now, therefore,
His Excellency the Governor, with the advice
and consent of Executive Council doth hereby dedicate
(firstly) Nelson Location 538 (secondly) the
