PROCLAMATION<br />
<strong>WESTERN</strong> <strong>AUSTRALIA</strong>. By His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sir Charles<br />
TO WIT, f Henry Gairdner, Knight Commander of the Most<br />
CHARLES HENRY Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint<br />
GAIRONER, George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order<br />
Governor, of the Bath, Commander of the Most Excellent<br />
Order of the British Empire, Governor is and<br />
ever the <strong>State</strong> of Western Australia and its<br />
Dependencies in the Cnmmnnwealth nf Australia.<br />
WHEREAS by the Coal Mine Workers (Pensions)<br />
Act, 1943-1951, it is provided that the Governor<br />
may from time to time by Proclamation increase<br />
or decrease the rates of conribution payable by<br />
each mineworker, or by each owner, in respect of<br />
each mineworker employed by such owner, as provided<br />
under such Act; and whereas it is expedient<br />
to increase the rates of contribution aforesaid: Now,<br />
therefore I, the said Governor, in exercise of the<br />
powers aforesaid, do hereby, with the advice and<br />
consent of the Executive Council, proclaim that<br />
on and after the 27th day of September,<br />
1952, and until the 27th day of March,<br />
1953, but subject to subsection (5) of section<br />
twenty-one of the said Act, the rates<br />
of contribution payable by each mineworker<br />
and by each owner in respect of<br />
each mineworker employed by such owner<br />
shall be respectively six shillings and sixpence<br />
per week and one pound two shillings<br />
and sixpence per week, and<br />
on and after the 28th day of March, 1953,<br />
and until further Proclamation, but subject<br />
to subsection (5) of section twentyone<br />
of the said Act the rates of contribution<br />
payable by each mineworker and by<br />
each owner in respect of each mineworker<br />
employed by such owner shall be respectively<br />
six shillings per week and one pound<br />
two shillings and sixpence per week.<br />

AT a meeting of the Executive Council, held in<br />
the Executive Council Chamber, Perth, this 29th<br />
day of April, 1953, the following Orders in Council<br />
were authorised to be issued:<br />
Country Areas Water Supply Act, 1947-1951.<br />
Extension of Pipeline to Narembeen Reservoir.<br />
Land Act, 1933-1950.<br />
ORDER IN COUNCIL.<br />
Corres. No, 3277/51.<br />
WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-<br />
1950, it is, inter alia, made lawful for the Governor<br />
to direct that any land reserved pursuant to the<br />
provisions of the Act, shall be leased for the purpose<br />
for which the land is reserved as aforesaid,<br />
by Instrument of Lease in accordance with the form<br />
in the Fourth Schedule of the Act, to any person<br />
(as defined in the said section); and whereas it<br />
is deemed expedient that reserve No. 23613 (Fitzroy<br />
Location 27) shall be leased for a term of 99 years<br />
to the United Aborigines Mission Limited to be<br />
held in trust for the purpose of an Aborigines' Mission:<br />
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor<br />
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive<br />
Council doth hereby direct that the abovementioned<br />
of reserve shall be leased for a term of 99 years to<br />
of the United Aborigines Mission Limited to be held<br />
in trust for the purpose of an Aborigines Mission.<br />

The Land Act, 1933-1950.<br />
ORDER IN COUNCIL.<br />
WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-<br />
1950, it is made lawful for the Governor to direct<br />
that any reserve shall vest in and be held by any<br />
municipality, road board, or other person or persons<br />
to be named in the order in trust for the like<br />
or other public purposes to be specified in such<br />
order; and whereas it is deemed expedient as<br />
follows:<br />
Corr. No. 381/41That reserve No. 22249 (Manjimup<br />
Lot 441) should vest in and be held by the<br />
Manjimup Road Board in trust for the purpose of<br />
Park Lands.<br />
Corr. No. 2882/31That Class A Reserves Nos.<br />
20952 (as amended), 20955 and 20956 should vest<br />
in and be held by the Bayswater Road Board in<br />
trust for the purpose of Recreation.<br />
Corr. No. 1195/39That reserve No. 22242*t<br />
(Gnowangerup Lot 221) should vest in and be<br />
held by Gnowangerup Road Board in trust for the<br />
purpose of Recreation.<br />
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by<br />
and with the advice and consent of the Executive<br />
Council, doth hereby direct that the before-mentioned<br />
reserves shall vest in and be held by the<br />
above road boards in trust for the above purposes,<br />
subject to section 37 of the Act.<br />
Subj ect to the approval in writing of the Minister<br />
for Lands being first obtained, to lease the whole<br />
or any portion of the said reserve for any term<br />
not exceeding 21 years from the date of the<br />
lease.<br />
A previous Order in Council dated 12th June,<br />
1951, is hereby superseded.<br />

ORDER IN COUNCIL.<br />

WHEREAS by the Forests Act, 1918, it is provided<br />
that the Governor may by Order in Council dedicate<br />
any Crown lands as <strong>State</strong> Forests within the meaning<br />
and for the purposes of that Act: Now, therefore,<br />
His Excellency the Governor, with the advice<br />
and consent of Executive Council doth hereby dedicate<br />
(firstly) Nelson Location 538 (secondly) the<br />
portion of Nelson Location 4025 the subject of Diagram<br />
16062 and (thirdly) portion of Nelson Loca..
