**Note to the reader:
When the editor told me this the topic for this issue was
“avant-garde”, I could have screamed with delight. It took
a while to figure out in which direction I want to go but
finally decided upon a literary style that is rarely used and very difficult
to write. Nonsense. Nonsense is a communication, via speech,
writing, or any other symbolic system, that lacks any coherent meaning.
Many poets, novelists and songwriters have used nonsense in their
works, often creating entire works amusement or satire, or to illustrate
a point about language or reasoning. I was interested in the latter.
Daily, we are forced to think within certain forms and boxes. Without
realizing, we lose our ability to play with words, thoughts and
meanings. That was the biggest challenge. This article was the most
difficult but also the most rewarding and I appreciate that I have
had the opportunity to actually write it... and here is the result.**
