KALTBLUT: What do mirrors and reflections mean to
you? Why do you use them a lot?
JEROEN: I don’t know really. The fact is I use them
much and still use them a lot, which means that I
haven’t figured that out yet. Once something is ‘solved’
for me, I don’t care anymore. Life is too short to care
about things you don’t want. A reflection is a world that
doesn’t really exist, maybe that’s why. But it is not a lie
also, it is a reflection. Hahaha yes, the last two sentences
are the clue a guess.
Reflection, imagination, melancholy, magic,… they are
all from the same area, they’re all neighbours!
