The sweet Emilie Simon is back with “Franky Night”, her brand new album
which also happens to be the soundtrack from the movie La Délicatesse.
After winning three Victoires de la musique ( the French equivalent of the
Grammys) for her first three albums, she was awarded last November in
Paris the Grand Prix Sacem for her fifth studio album “Franky Night”, in
recognition of her status of rising star of the French electronic music scene.
Emilie Simon is not just a singer, she writes her own music. Known for her
electronic sound, the new record she came up with is deep, personal and
very soft. We had the privilege of talking to her, and we can now say for a
fact that we are in complete love with Miss Emilie.
