In accordance with the provisions of subsection 2 of section 7B of the Town Planning and<br />
Development Act 1928, and by direction of the Hon Minister for Planning a summary as set out<br />
hereunder of the Shire of Ashburton Interim Development Order <strong>No</strong>. 6 made pursuant to the<br />
provisions of section 7B of that Act is hereby published for general information.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Hon Minister for Planning has made copies of this Order available for inspection by any person<br />
free of charge at the offices of the Department of Planning and Urban Development, Albert Facey<br />
House, 469-489 Wellington Street, Perth and at the offices of the Shire of Ashburton during normal<br />
office hours.<br />
SUMMARY<br />
1. <strong>The</strong> Shire of Ashburton Interim Development Order <strong>No</strong>. 6 applies to the townsite of Onslow and<br />
environs as described on DOLA maps Beadon 1:2 000<br />
-38.05, 38.06, 38.07<br />
-39.05, 39.06<br />
-40.05, 40.06<br />
contains provisions inter alia:<br />
a That the Order applies to that part of the Shire of Ashburton specified in the Order.<br />
b That, subject as therein stated, the Ashburton Shire Council is the authority responsible<br />
for its administration.<br />
c That the carrying out of certain development on land within the scope of the Order without<br />
approval as stated therein is prohibited.<br />
dl Relating to the application for, and grant of approval for, development other than<br />
development permitted by the Order.<br />
e Relating to development by a public authority.<br />
f Relating to certain development permitted by this Order.<br />
g Relating to the continuance of the lawful use of land and buildings.<br />
h Relating to appeals against refusal of approval for development or against conditions<br />
subject to which approval to carry out development is granted.<br />
2. <strong>The</strong> Order has effect from and after the publication of this Summary in the Government Gazette.<br />

the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.<br />
