NARRATOR.
When evening had come, after sunset, they brought all who were suffering from various types of diseases and those possessed with
devils. In fact, the whole city was gathered together at the door. He laid his hands on every one of them and cured them. Devils also
came out of many people, crying out and saying: "You are the Christ, the Son of God." But he rebuked them and would not allow
diseases. This was to fulfill the words spoken by Isaiah the prophet when he said: 'He took our sicknesses away and carried our
diseases for us.'
