When <strong>Jesus</strong> had gone into <strong>the</strong> house, <strong>the</strong> blind men came to him and <strong>Jesus</strong> said to <strong>the</strong>m:<br />
JESUS.<br />
Do you believe that I can do this?<br />
BLIND MEN.<br />
Yes, Lord.<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
He <strong>the</strong>n touched <strong>the</strong>ir eyes saying:<br />
JESUS.<br />
According to your faith, let it be done for you.<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
<strong>The</strong>ir sight returned and <strong>Jesus</strong> sternly warned <strong>the</strong>m:<br />
JESUS.<br />
Take care that no one knows about this?<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
But <strong>the</strong> men, when <strong>the</strong>y had left, talked about him all over <strong>the</strong> countryside.<br />

Cure <strong>of</strong> a Mute Possessed by a Demon<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
As <strong>the</strong>y were leaving, a man who was possessed by a demon and could not speak was brought to him. When <strong>the</strong> demon was cast out,<br />
<strong>the</strong> man who was dumb spoke and <strong>the</strong> crowds were amazed.<br />
PEOPLE.<br />
Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
But <strong>the</strong> Pharisees said:<br />
PHARISEES.<br />
He casts out demons through <strong>the</strong> prince <strong>of</strong> demons.<br />
NARRATOR.<br />
<strong>Jesus</strong> went about all <strong>the</strong> towns and villages, teaching in <strong>the</strong>ir synagogues, preaching <strong>the</strong> Good News <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Kingdom and healing all<br />
kinds <strong>of</strong> diseases and sicknesses that were among <strong>the</strong> people. When he saw <strong>the</strong> crowds, he was moved with compassion for <strong>the</strong>m<br />
because <strong>the</strong>y fainted and were scattered abroad like sheep without a shepherd. He <strong>the</strong>n said to his disciples:<br />
JESUS.<br />
<strong>The</strong> harvest is indeed plentiful, but <strong>the</strong> laborers are few. Pray <strong>the</strong>refore, that <strong>the</strong> Lord <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> harvest will send laborers into his harvest.<br />

NARRATOR.<br />
He went out from <strong>the</strong>re and proceeded to his home town [<strong>of</strong> Nazareth] with his disciples accompanying him. When <strong>the</strong> <strong>Sabbath</strong> day<br />
had arrived, he began teaching in <strong>the</strong> synagogue. He taught <strong>the</strong> people in <strong>the</strong> synagogue in such a way that most <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>m, when <strong>the</strong>y<br />
heard him said:<br />
PEOPLE.<br />
