One of the world’s foremost business thinkers, Paul Dunn specialises in
implementing breakthrough processes and ideas that revolutionise the way
business works. Find out why he celebrates SMEs everywhere and how you can
adopt his latest strategies to redefine the way you work.
Paul Dunn started his career as one of
the first 10 people in Hewlett Packard in
Australia. Then came the founding of one
of Australia’s first Computer Companies,
followed by the Results Corporation - a
consultancy that served 23,000 SME clients.
Paul then turned his attention to professional
knowledge firms and created the breakthrough
Accountants’ Boot Camp process,
enabling over 3,500 accounting firms and
17,000 accountants worldwide to work
with their clients in new ways. Right now,
156,000 businesses around the world use
Paul’s programs. He has always been at
the leading edge of thinking and of actual
implementation of breakthrough processes
and ideas.
Paul ‘lit up’ - if not shook up - the profession
with both his presentation style and (at the
time) radical ideas on how to create and
run better firms. These ideas are regarded
very much as standard practice now. Paul
continues to push the envelope of what’s
possible and is still at the leading edge of
thinking and the actual implementation of
those thoughts. He now serves as Chairman
of the revolutionary Buy1GIVE1 (or B1G1
as it’s better known), a company that’s
already created over 25 million giving
activities around the world by creating a new
‘platform’ to enable habitual, impactful and
‘connecting’ giving for SMEs.
Paul was recently honoured with a Lifetime
Service Award to the Accounting Profession in
the UK and as a Social Innovation (SIP) Fellow
in his new home of Singapore. He clocks up
1.2 Million air miles each year… and he tells
us his baggage does 2.4 Million!
psychology from the University of California,
Doug is uniquely qualified to create and
deliver effective training in how to start and
run a profitable business. He was the
founder and Vice-Chairman of the
Cambridge Angels and Chairman of the Conservative
Party Small Business Task Force.
Doug was an Honorary Recipient of The
Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion in
2006 and became a fellow of the RSA the
following year. He founded the School For
Startups in 2008, helping people start more
profitable businesses by teaching thousands
of business people face-to-face and through
online classes. This work gained him the
Enterprise Educator Of The Year award
from the National Council on Graduate Employment
in 2010.
