Thursday
15.30 - 16.00
Xenios was initially an engineer working
for a FTSE 100 company, but within six
months, he realised that he was allergic
to the bureaucracy of large corporations.
Inexperienced and utterly unemployable
at the age of 23, he began creating
a service that allowed time-starved
individuals to outsource work to multiskilled
individuals on a ‘per hour’ basis.
Three years later, PeoplePerHour.com
was born.
Responsible for
the overall
vision and direction of PeoplePerHour.com,
Xenios’ passion for product, relentless
pursuit of innovation and deep obsession
for customer service and user experience
are very much defining points of the
company’s culture and ethos. Xenios
holds an MA/MEng from Cambridge
University and attended executive
education at Harvard Business School.
Doing More With Less
What does your business need to succeed? This seminar is indispensable for
start-ups, as it explains how to get your business off the ground the lean and
agile way. Xenios Thrasyvoulou, founder and CEO of PeoplePerHour, talks both
from personal experience and that of a community of 450,000 small businesses
that live on PeoplePerHour, on how to harness the power of the crowd to get
