SAT
R
0/12-V-RELAY
0/12 V Relay
- 1 input: F-socket
- 2 outputs: F-sockets
- Frequency range: up to 2400 MHz
- To connect a receiver and set top box (digital TV) to a
universal LNC
- With digital TV, the relay switches the SAT signal to the
set top box which supplies the 12 V switching voltage
DiSEqC?
i
DiSEqC is an abbreviation for “Digital Satellite Equipment Control”.
DiSEqC is a trade mark of “Eutelsat”.
Regarding DiSEqC, you distinguish between different levels:
Signal Junction
Terrestrial
(also DVB-T)
antenna
i
DiSEqC Level 1.0
operates with the complete DiSEqC set of commands and allows to
digitally accommodate the switching commands polarisation,
frequency band and satellite position on the data burst. This oneway
system only enables one-way communication from the receiver
to the satellite components.
DiSEqC Level 2.0
is based on level 1.0 but communication is bi-directional. The receiver
sends DiSEqC commands to the devices, which confirm them.
Thus, all electronic periphery components can log onto the receiver
and acknowledge receipt of the commands.
Summary of the switching signals:
14/18 Volt: Switching vertically/horizontally
22-kHz signal: Switching analogue/digital in LNB
DiSEqC 1.0 (1.1): For both switching and Tone Burst and with rotating
satellite systems for controlling several
satellite positions (rotor system)
DiSEqC 2.0 (2.1): As DiSEqC 1.0 (1.1) but with feedback signal
from the single components back to the receiver!
Antennas/SAT
SAT-Receiver
To “unite” SAT and terrestrial (also DVB-T) signal, or to feed
images from monitoring cameras.
DiSEqC SWITCHES
DiSEqC Switch 2 - 1
- To connect 2 universal LNBs to a receiver with DiSEqC
