Diagnostic characters: Tricolporate pollen of globular shape. The three slender colpi
converge in symmetrical arrangement at the poles. Pores small, somewhat lalongate.
Exine laevigate, two-layered, 0.5-1.5 ,urn thick.
Measurements: 13-13.5 ,urn X 11-13.5 ,urn in size.
With / length ratio: 0.85-1. O.
Stratigraphic range: Late Paleocene to Pliocene in Middle Europe.
Germany: Middle Eocene (Helmstedt); Late Eocene to Early Oligocene
(Hessen); Middle Oligocene (Bergisch Gladbach); Oligocene (Hessen);
Late Oligocene (St. Augustin); Miocene (Hessen, Rhineland).
