Case study<br />

W/ro Abebech is admitted to the labour ward at 13 hours .On<br />

admission the descent of the head is 5/5 above the brim,<br />

dilatation of the cervix is 1 cm, <strong>and</strong> FHB is 124/minute with<br />

two uterine contractions per 10 minutes lasting 20 seconds.<br />

After 4 hrs the head was 4/5, cervical dilatation is 5 cms; FHB<br />

is 136/mint with 3 uterine contractions lasting 35 seconds.<br />

After 3 hrs the assessment show that the head is 1/5, cervical<br />

dilatation is 10 cms, FHb is 132/mint with 3 uterine<br />

contractions lasting 40 seconds.<br />
