2.1.2 PMCS Procedures. a. Your PMCS, Table 2-1, lists inspections and care required to keep your mask in good operating condition. b. The "ITEM NO." column of Table 2-1 contains a number for each item. Item numbers appear in the order that you must do PMCS. c. The "INTERVAL" column tells you when to do a certain check or service. d. "LOCATION/ITEM TO CHECK/SERVICE" column lists the location and name of the item(s). e. The "PROCEDURE" column tells you how to do required checks and services. NOTE Terms "ready/available" and "mission capable" refer to same status: Equipment is on hand and fully mission capable (See DA PAM 738-750). 2-3
2.1.2 PMCS Procedures (CONT). f. The "NOT FULLY MISSION CAPABLE IF." column in Table 2-1 tells you when your mask is nonmission capable and why the mask cannot be used. g. If the mask does not perform as required, refer to Chapter 3, Section II, Troubleshooting. h. If anything is wrong and you can't fix it, write it on your DA Form 2404.
