Check that barb (5) is not broken or cracked. f. Wipe moisture and dirt from outlet valve cover (2) with cheesecloth (item 3, app D) and check for cuts, tears or holes. Barb is cracked or broken. Outlet valve cover is cut, torn, has holes, or will not seat firmly over outlet valve. g. Reinstall cover. 2-25
