Operator Cab<br />

Warning<br />

DO NOT adjust the seat or seat belt while<br />

the forklift is moving. Keep both hands on<br />

the wheel while the forklift is moving to<br />

prevent loss of forklift control which could<br />

result in death or serious injury.<br />

Before starting the engine, adjust the seat for position and<br />

comfort (refer to the Operator Seat section of this manual)<br />

and then adjust the seat belt as follows:<br />

1. Grasp the free end of the seat belt (located on the left<br />

side of the seat) and make sure the belt webbing is<br />

not twisted or entangled in any portion of the seat<br />

assembly.<br />

2. Pull the retractable seat belt across your lap. Position<br />

the seat belt as low on your body as possible.<br />

3. Insert the latch plate into the buckle (on the right side<br />

of the seat) until a “click” is heard.<br />

4. Make sure seat belt retracts snugly across your lap.<br />

Controls and Indicators<br />

Travel Select Lever<br />

The travel select lever has three (3) positions:<br />

FORWARD, NEUTRAL, and REVERSE, which change the<br />

direction of travel.<br />

F Forward UP Position (Away from the operator).<br />

N Neutral CENTER Position.<br />

R Reverse DOWN Position (Toward the operator).<br />

Rear View Mirrors<br />

Two (2) adjustable rear view mirrors are provided to aid<br />

the operator’s rear vision. One (1) rear-view mirror is<br />

mounted on the upper left of the operator’s cab.<br />

The travel select lever automatically locks when it is in the<br />

NEUTRAL position. The operator must raise and move<br />

the travel select lever when changing to the FORWARD or<br />

REVERSE position.<br />

NOTE: The travel select lever must be in the<br />

NEUTRAL position to start the reach forklift.<br />

NOTE: The back-up alarm automatically sounds when the<br />

travel select lever is in the REVERSE position.<br />
