performance of a Czech composition. In 2004 and 2007 she won the same competition in the category<br />

of chamber ensembles. At the International Competition of Jaroslav Kocian in Ústí nad Orlicí she has<br />

been awarded four second prizes, two third prizes and this year she became the winner. At the Prague<br />

Junior Note national competition in 2008 she won the Prize of PhDr. J. Micka for her extraordinary<br />

performance of a 20th century composition and the Prize of Inter-Podium o.p.s. given to each individual<br />

category winner. Julie has performed abroad many times. She last gave concerts at the Bayreuth<br />

Opernhaus, Germany, and in Amman and Petra, Jordan. She performs regularly with Czech chamber<br />

orchestras – Virtuosi Pragenses and Quattro. She has also co-operated with the Zlín and Pilsner Philharmonic<br />

Orchestras.<br />

ANASTASIA VOROTNAJA<br />

se narodila roku 1995. Začala studovat hru<br />

na klavír v šesti letech na Akademickém<br />

hudebním gymnáziu ve městě Togliatti a ve<br />

stejném věku již získala první cenu hudební<br />

soutěže města Togliatti nazvané „Young<br />

Virtuoso“. V devíti letech se přestěhovala<br />

do Moskvy, aby mohla studovat na Centrální<br />

hudební škole při Moskevské konzervatoři,<br />

kde je v současnosti studentkou<br />

8. ročníku u Vasilije Ermakova. Anastasia<br />

se již účastnila řady soutěží pro mladé klavíristy.<br />

Získala hlavní cenu v soutěži Muravyova<br />

(Samara, 2004) stejně jako na soutěži<br />

nazvané „Mozart wunderkind“ (Vídeň,<br />

Rakousko, 2006), dále pak první ceny na<br />

soutěžích uměleckého sdružení (Samara,<br />

2002), „Talents of the New Age“ (Moskva,<br />

2003), „Young pianists“ (Moskva, 2007)<br />

a „Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition“ (New York, USA, 2008). Anastasia vystoupila<br />

na koncertech ve věhlasných moskevských sálech i v Carnegie Hall v New Yorku. Zúčastnila se také<br />

koncertního turné v Japonsku, Dánsku, Německu, Belgii, Rakousku, Ázerbajdžánu, Gruzii a v mnoha<br />

ruských městech.<br />

ANASTASIA VOROTNAYA<br />

born 1995, began studying the piano at the age of six at the Togliatti Music Academy and won her first<br />

Grand Prix at the same age in the Young Virtuoso Music Competition in Togliatti. When she was nine,<br />

she moved to Moscow to attend the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatoire, where she is<br />

currently in her 8th year, studying the piano with Vasiliy Ermakov. Anastasia has participated in a number<br />

of competitions for young pianists. She won the Grand Prix of the Muravyova Competition (Samara,<br />

2004), the Mozart Wunderkind Competition (Vienna, Austria, 2006) and the first prizes at the Assembly<br />

of Arts (Samara, 2002), the Talents of the New Age Competition (Moscow, 2003), the Young Pianists<br />

Competition (Moscow, 2007), and at the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition (New<br />

York, USA, 2008). She has performed in concerts in the Grand, Minor and Rachmaninov Halls of the<br />

Moscow Conservatoire and at Carnegie Hall in New York. She has also toured Japan, Denmark, Germany,<br />

Belgium, Austria, Azerbaijan and Georgia, and given concerts in many Russian cities and towns.<br />
