Alicia Palavecino de Serrano has been teaching at a public secondary school for the past ten<br />
years. The age of her students range form 14-30 years old, and on average there are 40 students<br />
in her class. Alicia is an active coordinator of foreign languages. She also provides trainings for<br />
the students in the last year at the Teacher Training School. Alicia received a degree of Professor<br />
of English from the Superior Institute of Teachers in 2004. She is studying literature at N.<br />
University of Litoral. Alicia is married with two young daughters and a son. Her primary<br />
objective for participating in TEA is to explore new methodologies for engaging students in a<br />
more active classroom setting.<br />

Anahi Segura has been an English teacher for more than 18 years. Her students range in age from<br />
12 to 16, and her classes typically have about 38 students. She is also the Treasurer Officer of the<br />
administrative committee that runs one of the schools where she works. She got her degree as a<br />
teacher in 1987 at the Escuela Superior de Lenguas, Universidad Nacional de Cloa, and she is<br />
presently attending some seminars as an external student of the ―Maestria en Linguistica‖ given<br />
by Facultad de Lenguas, Universidad Nacional de Cloa. Anahi is married and has two daughters<br />
and a son. She is very keen on reading, watching films, and also playing volleyball. Her main<br />
goals for participating in this program are to receive the best and newest training with the newest<br />
methodologies as well as to exchange experiences with teacher of English all over the world.<br />

Andrea Zuccaro has been an EFL/ESL teacher in private schools for 18 years. The age of her<br />
students range from 11 to 16 years old. She graduated from Consudec Teacher Training College<br />
in 1992 and she also holds a degree in educational management from Caece University. Her<br />
professional interests are teacher professional development, content-based teaching and<br />
assessment. She is single and her hobbies are swimming and music. During the TEA program,<br />
she hopes to improve her teaching and share experiences with other teachers.<br />
