4-5 października October 4-5: „Architektura wileńskiego baroku. Próba redefinicji”
[Architecture of the Vilnius Baroque. Attempt at Redefinition]
Międzynarodowe seminarium zorganizowane przez pracownię Polskiej Sztuki Dawnej z okazji dwudziestolecia
badań nad kulturą artystyczną dawnego Wielkiego Księstwa Litewskiego. Inicjując podjęcie
badań, Instytut sztuki zaprosił do współpracy badaczy z Litwy, Łotwy i Białorusi. Zaowocowało to
licznymi konferencjami w Warszawie, Sejnach, Wilnie, Rydze, Mińsku i Słonimiu.
An international Semianr held by the Workshop of Polish Old Art on the occasion of the 20 th
anniversary of the research into the artistic culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. While initiating
the research, the Institute of Art invited scholars from Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus to cooperate.
This resulted in numerous conferences in Warsaw, Sejny, Vilnius, Riga, Minsk, Slonim.
The Seminar included a trip to Kobyłka and Rembertów featuring churches related to the
questions of the Vilnius Late Baroque.
