Riding high on the excitement from the Official Opening of our second Regional Campus, we

Three Colleges’ on 3 February 2012. To celebrate the structural completion of the new ITE Headquarters

• Best Education Experience Award – from the Singapore Tourism Board for providing ‘unique and
compelling experiences at the new ITE College West with dedication, passion, and commitment.’
• ISO 9001:2008 Certification for ITE’s Quality Management System for Academic
Programmes (Renewal) – from the International Organisation for Standardisation, for having met
requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
• SHARE Gold Award and Special Events Gold Award – from the National Council of Social
Service, for contributions to the community in need.
• Distinguished Home Team Partner Award – from the Ministry of Home Affairs, for outstanding
support of Total Defence.

In addition to the awards above, we completed an intensive four-day site assessment in February 2012
as part of the Mid-Cycle Review under the MOE-ITE Quality Assurance Framework (I-QAF)
introduced in 2009. The post-review comments by the six-member External Review Panel were most
encouraging. The Panel applauded us for the ’holistic approach’ and the ’strong internal processes’ we
have in place to drive and implement the Panel’s recommendations made in 2009. In fact, the progress
we have made had ’far exceeded the Panel’s expectations’ during the three-year period.
