Aqleemiae Tila (Gold dust) 14gm<br />

Preparation: Make micro-fine powder of all drugs.<br />

Use Indication: Use with eye stick two times a day<br />

Kushta Saazi<br />

It is a branch of Ilmul Advia in which certain drugs are prepared by<br />

burning them either on direct heat or indirect heat. These drugs are<br />

prepared by certain methods. When drugs are prepared by such<br />

methods these become highly effective. These preparations are<br />

absorbed rapidly and effects immediately.<br />

Word Kushta means ‘killed’ but in <strong>Unani</strong> Pharmacy it is such<br />

preparation prepared by burning them either on direct heat or<br />

indirect heat.<br />

Ingredients:<br />

Abrak Safed Mehloob (White Talc treated with particular method) 100gm<br />

Luab Gheekwar (Aloe vera mucilage) as needed<br />

Shora Qalmi (Potassium nitrate) 150gm<br />

Water as needed<br />

Preparation:<br />

Keep Abrak (Talcum) in clay pot. Pour Luab Gheekwar (Aloe vera<br />

mucilage) so the Abrak (Talcum) is fully dipped in. Seal with Gile<br />

Hikmat and keep it in heat of 10-12 kg dung cake. It will soften the<br />

leaf of Abrak (Talcum). Make solution of Shora (Potassium nitrate)<br />

in water. Dip leaf of Abrak (Talcum) in Shora solution and keep them<br />

in clay pot. Keep it in heat of 10-12 kg cow dung cake. Let it be cool.<br />

Take out material from clay pot and powder it. Now keep it in water<br />

and decant it. Repeat it at least three times so the salty taste of Shora<br />

is finished, use it.<br />

Dose: 125-250mg<br />

Kushta Abrak Siyah<br />

Action and Uses: It is particularly used in Huma Muzmin (Chronic<br />

Fever), Humae Vabai (Epidemic Fever).<br />

Chief Ingredient: Abrak Siyah (Black Talcum)<br />

Ingredients:<br />

Abrak Siyah Mehloob (Black Talcum treated with particular method)<br />

10gm<br />

Dahi (Curd) 30gm<br />

Kushta Abrak Safed<br />

Action and Uses: Sual (Cough), Zeequnnafas (Asthma), Huma<br />

(Pyrexia, Fever), It is beneficial in Jiryan Mani (Spermatorrhoea),<br />

Sailanurrehem (Leucorrhoea)<br />

Chief Ingredient: Abrak Safed Mehloob (White Talcum)<br />

Preparation: Make powder of Abrak (Talc) with Dahi (Curd) in<br />

Kharal (Mortar) and make Tablet. Keep them in clay pot and give<br />

heat of 2 kg dung cake.<br />

Dose: 125-250 mg<br />
