Tour Des Forts
For over 600 years Jersey was a
frontier post at the very edge of a
war-zone, threatened by an enemy
less than half a day’s sail away. The
Island landscape is peppered with
reminders of this dangerous period,
some obvious and others off the
beaten track. This one day tour will
take you on a trip of discovery to
reveal some of the islands’ key fort
sites. Your coach departs from The
Jersey Museum. Please bring a
packed lunch.

Fayre
The Grouville Autumn Fayre takes
place at a wonderful ancient manor
farm located deep in Grouville. The
grounds of the historic manor provide
a fantastic setting and, with all the
usual fun-of-the-fair, there is always

The National Trust for
Jersey - Open Day
Open Day is an annual event
organised in association with English
Heritage to enable people to view
historic properties which are not
normally open to the public. This
year’s Open Day Weekend is part of a
very special week long event
dedicated to exploring and discovering
the Island’s history and hidden
treasures, in association with Jersey
Tourism, Jersey Heritage and The
Société Jersiaise.
