This award-winning garden is a lovely<br />
place to sit and pass away a few hours.<br />
180 feet long Koi pond with a great<br />
waterfall and a large aviary with many<br />
birds in it that have been rescued over the<br />
years The garden contains many<br />
thousands of plants which have been<br />
carefully chosen for their scent, appearance<br />
and attraction to wildlife. Through the<br />
summer months, you will often come<br />
across a charity raising event being held in<br />
the garden and in the Amphitheatre/<br />
Theatre and only recently, Reg has been<br />
granted permission to hold Civil Wedding<br />
ceremonies in the Garden Theatre.<br />

Samarès Manor Gardens, which<br />
date from the 1920’s, have recently<br />
undergone substantial restoration and<br />
development including the creation<br />
of one of the most comprehensive<br />
herb gardens in Europe. The gardens<br />

and design styles - a formal rose and<br />
lavender garden, Japanese garden,<br />
exotics border, water gardens and<br />

One of the most appealing of <strong>Jersey</strong>’s<br />
public gardens, the grounds contains<br />
colourful displays of trees and plants that<br />
flourish in the mild climate. The park is the<br />
location of a World War Two cemetery and<br />
is host to many alfresco events throughout<br />
the warmer months.<br />
