shores of Jersey with 28 Polo ponies
making up 4 Polo teams, including
professional players, who will be
competing on St Brelade's Bay.

Saturday 22nd
Albert Lee
Albert Lee, by common consent one
of the world’s finest guitar-players,
needs no introduction to Country
Music & Rock fans. He has worked
with some of the world’s top artists
from Emmylou Harris to the Everly
Brothers, Dolly Parton to Eric Clapton.
In November 2002, at Clapton’s request,
Albert appeared at the starstudded
Memorial Concert for George
Harrison at London’s Albert Hall and
featured alongside Sheryl Crow, Vince
Gill and Eric Clapton at Eric’s 2007
and 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival.
He is also a member of Bill Wyman’s
Rhythm Kings and fronted the band at
the O2 arena on the night of the Led
Zeppelin reunion concert. Albert is a
double Grammy award-winning musician,
whose talents continue to be in
demand by fellow performers the
world throughout.

Sunday 23rd
Jersey Motorcycle Rally
2012
All motorcycles are invited to come
along and circumnavigate the island
with stops at St Catherine's Breakwater
and Le Braye. The purpose of the rally is
not to have the fastest time around the
Island but to safely complete the
predetermined route. Starting and
finishing at Weighbridge Place, St Helier
where there will be light refreshments
and lots more going on, the rally is
expected to leave at 11.00 and return
by 13.30. Spectators are free and
charges are £5 per bike to take part, all
money collected will be donated to
Headway (Jersey) and St John
Ambulance (Jersey). The public are
invited to attend and observe the static
motorbike displays, look through our
second hand motorcycle clothing stall,
watch the motorcycle safety displays
and other entertainment which will
feature throughout the day.
